About Jocelyn Tattoo

My roots are deep in Sacramento but was transplanted, (ages ago now) as a mere sapling from Minnesota. I have an obsession with houseplants. I love to garden and grow things. My favorite and the most challenging thing to help grow and thrive is my kid. My fellow Millennial, cycle breaking parents engaging in gentle parenting while also going to therapy... I see you, I am you.

As a lifelong artist and lover of learning, I'm always excited to consume more knowledge and expand my brain. Don't take me on vacation, take me on a field trip. I'm a nerd for the natural world. I took every art class I could and tried every medium I could. I hold a BA in Photography from CSUS but it's tattooing that's held my focus longer than any other art form. 

I've been tattooing for 10 years and working in the tattoo industry since 2009. I enjoy cultivating the evolution of my art through building my technical skill while integrating knowledge of art theory, science & the natural world. This, alongside building meaningful connection with my clients through their lived experiences makes me a better artist and a better human every day.
