There have been a lot of policy changes over the past couple years, all of which are intended to keep both the client and the artist safe and healthy! All of our artists are vaccinated for Covid-19. From mask wearing to additional sanitation practices, I strive to make my workspace and your experience as safe as possible. I am continuing to mask and do ask that my clients mask while getting tattooed due to the close proximity of the procedure. While I will not be requiring proof of vaccination from Covid-19 in order to get tattooed in my space, I highly recommend you are up to date with all vaccines as getting tattooed does hinder the immune system in the short term and can leave the client at higher risk for contracting illness. I will always be up to date with my vaccines/boosters/seasonal flu shots to further ensure the health and safety of my clients, the shop, myself and my family. I am not trying to push vaccines on anyone, and if it is a choice you decide not to make, that's your business. Although if you're on the fence and would like a non-judgemental fact based conversation on why science is awesome and vaccines are effective, I will gladly meet you in that discourse. I respect the autonomy of each human, but in return I ask for the respect for my autonomy too. It was my choice to get vaccinated, it is my choice to prioritize providing a service to those I believe are taking all of the available and necessary precautions to prevent the spread of deadly diseases.
As your appointment date approaches and any of the following apply to you, please email me and let me know so we can chat about how to proceed accordingly. If you:
1.) are sick, feel like you're getting sick, have a fever, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing.
2.) have been traveling extensively.
3.) have had a recent exposure to a sick person, especially someone with COVID-19, flu, strep, or other communicable illness.
Please ring the doorbell at the shop when you arrive and I will let you in. Our door may remain locked during business hours to keep prohibited 'walk-in' traffic.
I look forward to seeing you and am happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every client, safe in our studio. Thank you for your patience and understanding. I value your trust and patience and look forward to welcoming you to the shop!
-Visitors are allowed BUT please let me know in advance if you are bringing anyone with you or will have any visitors. We are trying to keep the number of people in the shop each day to a minimum. Please bring any necessities you may need (snacks, water bottle, phone, etc). We do have a place to refill your water on site and a fridge for snacks if needed.
-I do ask that my clients wear a face mask that covers your nose, mouth and chin upon entering the studio and for the duration of your procedure. While I do wear a mask at all times, unless a mask mandate is in place, other artists or clients in the studio may not be wearing masks. My station is distanced from others but if you would like everyone in the shop to mask during your appointment please do not hesitate to let me know and I will take care of it prior to your entrance to the shop. (My coworkers are very respectful in this matter and 100% have no problem doing this when I request it. This is part of my pledge to create a space that you feel safe getting tattooed in).
-Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between clients and proper time to sanitize the workspace between clients. If you show up significantly early for your appointment, we ask that you wait in your car to allow the other clients proper space to finish up their procedure and exit the building.
-We will do our best to reduce the number of clients in the shop at any one time.
-Please maintain social distance from other clients and artists when you are in the shop and stay within your artist's station unless you are washing your hands or using the bathroom.
